Get a job in a bar!!!
When the economy sucks, people drown their troubles at their favorite pub or coffee bar.
Start your own business!
Now is the time, besides, what have you got to lose?
Sell online!!!
Don't DON'T pay someone to "show you how to make' it online. If you have a product or service you have previously sold in person or with a newspaper ad, get a blog or free web site or an Ebay account and do the same thing with a huge customer base!!!!
Quote of the day: One man's trash is another man's treasure. Similarly, someone loses, another guy picks up the slack.
Whatever you do, stay safe and always always remain cool.

Get a Job!

Hey, people! In an effort to do my part for the economy, here's my first review of JOB sources. If you have your own information to add about various employment opportunities (or tips for job search), please let me know via the comment box!

Meanwhile, what are you going to do with those great Internet marketing skills (you are probably still paying for)?
I found a place that combines the information about different levels and types of marketing opportunities from a wealth of sources and puts them at your fingertips. It's called Marketing Crossing

These guys :
1. do the research
2. filter for your interests/abilities, then
3. present it all to you.

My impression: easy, neat, understandable. And full of resources.

From the website:

  • A comprehensive collection of researched job openings
  • Marketing jobs from all Fortune 500 and Fortune 1,000 companies
  • Job openings from all Inc. 500 and Inc. 5,000 companies
  • Jobs from virtually every employer career web page in America
  • Jobs from virtually every job board in America

  • This is a smart way to search for employment in marketing. (Someone else does the leg work) For those of you looking to connect your marketing skills and experience to the right employer, this is a good, solid website.

Here's one example for employment as a Marketing Representative.
    Pretty nice perks there, huh?
And if you're interested in Media Marketing. Reputable, recognizable employers are listed on these pages.

From the Convention Center in Dallas, to food service marketing in Salt Lake City, the Sales Marketing jobs are plentiful.

If you come to the table with management skills, Internet marketing
    experience,or as a
SEO/SEM specialist, perusing Marketing Crossing 's pages is time spent most efficiently.

There's my pick of the week, guys!
    BTW Good luck,
and may the warm sun shine on you today.
